Hi Guys,

Normally deal with Outlook but a user had Windows Mail and wanted to get it to "move to the next unread" message after deleting the one they had just read.
It currently just moves to the "last read e-mail", which is not what is desired.

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,
Joe

"Windows Mail" was the email program built-in to Windows Vista, just like "Outlook Express" was the built-in email program for Windows XP.

If the user is truly using "Windows Mail", then the user is running Windows Vista. My response would be that Vista (and Windows Mail) is obsolete and is what it is.

It is statistically more likely he was talking Windows 10 than Vista. I will not even touch a Vista machine except to migrate data from it. A usability issue is irrelevant as my answer would be to stop using it.

Is this by any chance what you're searching for? I use Win10 mail on one of my accounts and found under settings/Reading Pane is Auto-open switch.
