I'm not surprised that Azure is making money, since they gutted employees, but it would be interesting to have a deeper breakdown into what specifically is contributing to the growth. I feel like this could be the peak before a dip. But, is it worth switching when everywhere is getting enshittified anyway? And it used to be that other cloud providers tried to convince you to move to you by offering a bunch of credits.

Every other month we get an email from Azure that they acidentally haven't been billing enough for something and so costs will be going up. I wonder how much growth stuff like that will come from.

Good luck, we've had tons of issues with no longer getting quota increases approved, trying to reallocate a VM and suddenly can't do it because someone else grabbed that capacity the moment it was deallocated. That's not even to mention the increase in outages, increase in bugs, and some outages they don't even report anymore unless you ask them about it.

In the meantime "The Peons" have limited access to hardware due to skyhigh prices such as RAM/VRAM. It will only continue to get worse with DDR4 being phased out, so now we have a supply issue.

Purchasing a DDR5 x32GB Kit can be around $AUS650+, just insanity ; sigh goin to lay down now...

US regions are better about it, but yes it's a problem.
