Pretty sure everyone one recognizes Blackberry. Turns out they're on the rise again and not because cellular stuff. They have owned QNX for years. QNX has apparently become the go to company for modern automobile software/OS's. Link below to the article is supposed to be unlocked so everyone should be able to read it if they want. QNX.com, the commercial product, offers a free license. Kind of like what VMware had for years. Private use only. There's also openQNX but couldn't find any downloads.

20 years ago I had a client with a QNX system that controlled all billing, control, and security aspects of a Propane bulk terminal. I just did a search of my email and found the confirmation email for joining their web portal from back then.

I had almost no background in a Unix-like OS back then and QNX was about as alien as you can get for a Windows guy. Lucky for me the site used a normal XP system for web and email work!

I just watched Blackberry on Netflix, such a fun show lol. I miss my Blackberry Pearl!
