Well, LMI-Resc is like having a full office suite of features vs just one program. It also has some really nice features of admin groups, technician groups and sub-groups of each. All this is very nice if working with more then one technician (employee) or if needing to share access with a site admin or site technician.
It looks to be a great choice if you are a very competent tech and are busy as many of the features are there to save time going through normal routes to access the information.
I'm also going to look at Remote Utilities as it looks promising as well and may be a great backup (let alone a stand-alone product) app that is strictly software driven (kind of like Teamviewer).
I still think that these companies should develop a method for self hosting their software as due to some specific security concerns, there are some customers I wouldn't be running through a 3rd party server while having full access to their PC.
