Yes the passwords are from 2012 and maybe you have changed them since then but even so it is a good idea anyway.

In case anyone else found it irritatingly difficult to change your linkedin password, here are the instructions from Linkedin:

"Help with Resetting Your Password

You can reset your password on the Sign in page.

1. Click the ? question mark beside the Password field or the Forgot password? link.
2. Enter an email address you have on your account."

I couldn't find any way to do it from within my account. I had to follow the "forgot password" instructions above, even though I hadn't actually forgotten my password. That's a strange design choice.
