I've got an Lenovo Carbon x1 6th gen with a flickering screen. Little lines on the bottom right side. I’ll post the link to the video in a second.

Is this likely the lcd or the motherboard?

Do you get any screen corruption on an external monitor? It almost looks like those "blocks of lines" are sections of the screen, like the flex cable-to-glass sections. Might be worth throwing a screen at it.

I would try another screen. The lines are arranged in a "broken block" pattern which I think is likely an issue with the LCD PCB board or the PCB-to-glass flex cables:

Usually covered by black plastic or tape, in the picture above, the brown blocks by the red "Don't Touch" labels, are the flex cables. When they go bad or if the controller loses a section or is failing - you can see the type of behavior from a screen that you show in your video.

All that to say, I think it's an LCD panel.

With all due respect to Aaron's opinion, have you tried resetting the cables on both ends?
I've had this before and just unplugging/ re setting cables fixed it.
Imo, its not a Motherboard/LCD/PCB issue.
The external monitor works normally, so I'm leaning towards a cable problem..

Well, you could try and be specific, or you can quote complete screen assembly and 100% be sure issue is solved.

I mean for a cheap customer that doesn't mind coming back multiple times sure go the cable route, bit you are throwing away your time.

Was wondering about warranty on a gen6....
Lenovo's basic "depot" warranty is OK
We usually upsell the Pro warranty bundle, next biz day onsite.
Speaking of that. They only have depot warranty but they are willing to upgrade. If they upgrade to onsite NBD will Lenovo allow an immediate claim? Or is there a waiting period?
