I've got a customer's Lenovo IdeaCentre 520 AIO that began freezing at the Lenovo screen with the Windows spinning wheel.

I have tested and removed the hard drive, tested and swapped the RAM, but I cannot get it to boot to anything. I've tried a Windows 10 USB, a Linux USB, Gandolf USB, and SARDU. They all attempt to boot but eventually freeze on the same Lenovo logo with Windows circle screen.

I ran the onboard diagnostics and everything passed. CPU, RAM, Mobo, chipset, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Remove the HDD and try to boot from the Windows 10 USB. Sometimes HDD's can cause systems to hang. They show up as okay on diagnostics but take a dump when you try to read from them. Reset the BIOS settings to default and maybe update the BIOS.

Regardless, with an AIO if it isn't software, hard drive, or RAM related, it's dumpster time. I NEVER recommend AIO's. They have all the disadvantages of a laptop and they aren't even portable.

I did remove the hard drive and try to not too all the operating systems that I listed. I did reset bios. I can't seem to update the Bios outside of Windows. The built-in diagnostics show all hardware as 'passed', including CPU, RAM, and motherboard.

Thank you for your response, I will likely recommend a new computer and transfer the data from the HDD.
