I need to order a laptop cooling pad for a Dell Precision M90. I've never ordered or even used one of these before, and am in need of some suggestions. I'm obviously looking for something with maximum cooling capability, is quiet, and comfortable for the user.

Any suggestions?

Have had 2 diff. ones, Targus & no-name, quit running the USB fans after a short while.
But they still work for keeping the PC elevated and with airflow possible.

You have to decide what it needs in chilling vs cooling, etc. depending on current use, config, how hot it runs now (& why - can user changes beat it?)

Hi u should consider making your own one its pretty simple and you can put the fans where you need them most. I made some from one of those food trays for your lap with the cushion underneath them. I had a few fans lying around so i marked out the 3 vent areas on the tray to line up with the laptop and cut and fitted the fans in. I wired them all up together to a single usb which fits in to a spare port on the laptop. The cooling power it provides is amazing compared to the store bought ones. I also sprayed it black and gave it a coat of laquer so it looks great too
