Lan Chat

Does anyone know of a good Lan Chat program that is similar to A-Chat but can be server based so we can maintain logs of the chats? It also has to be either free or very low cost due to my boss being thrifty for lack of a better word.... LOL

have you tried IP messenger?

I't open source, it can connect to the bigname IM's and has several different clients
