The big issue I see with rkill is that it sometimes doesn't work (again, not ALWAYS, but sometimes). Then, ya gotta go a different route to do the killin'.

Good tip, though. Likely there's someone here that hasn't seen this tip yet.

Not to sound all "well, dur" but....

Seems pretty obvious that one should kill off any/all unnecessary software as possible. A "svchost" might be well disguised but that "iicjsdkkn" doesn't blend so well.

I usually use process explorer but I am always looking for better. Will try it out.

Pointless post, not every professional knows about every piece of software. Good tip, have been using Rkill for a while now.
