Jeans, boots and a nicely ironed and tucked in polo shirt or long sleeve button up shirt in the winter. I live in small rural town and very few people get dressed up. I was in Lowe's the other day and saw a man in black slacks, a nice dress shirt and a tie and I thought about how funny it looked to see someone that dressed up. Even our bankers all wear khakis and a polo shirt now days. I think it just depends on the area and the people you are servicing. If I showed up with slacks and a tie 95% of my customers would think I was going to a funeral or a wedding.
