[SOLVED] Issue with my website: connection not private

How do I fix this?

Got the domain from GoDaddy and have it forward people to my free Wix website (different domain).

No no we don't need ssl for it, As it's redirecting to other website which is already secured.

So no need to purchase the ssl.

Hey sorry I got some system glitch.

On redirection it was not set to https.

So just fixed that.

Your site won't be secure until you get an SSL. All my sites have the SSL issued by the site host. I suspect that because you host on a free Wix account you can't get one from them. I buy my domains from NameSilo and host on Dreamhost. Dreamhost provides an SSL for each of my domains. Prior to putting the SSL on each one, Google would pop up a notice that my site was not secure and do I really want to go there.

My Wix website is HTTPS and has a valid SSL certificate.

If you look at the website in the pictures they point to the andys site as being the culprit. But I'm testing now and the redirect is working the way it should. Maybe it was just some DNS propagation delays.

That very well could have been. These things don't happen right away. It's normally within 5 minutes, but it could take up to 48 hours depending on how backed up the servers are.
