is this LCD Screen bad or is it the cable?

I've never replaced a video cable, just screens and I'm not sure on this one, Acer p455 , perfect image but then getting theses black and white horizontal lines off/on, perfect on external, I tried reseating the connector, I don't really want to order a screen unless I know for sure. Anybody seen this on a acer?

Since I don't see an "impact" blotch, I'd put a nickle on the lcd cable.

yeah, wish I had one that fit, I went ahead and ordered a screen from a place that has free returns, I just can't tell for sure.

I keep damaged screens (where most of the image is okay) around just for problems like this. Helps a lot.
