Hi this is my first time on these forums, I've encountered a weird error that when the Intel on board Graphics drivers on the Acer Aspire E1-531-4624 is enable the graphics goes crazy like the second image, but when disable to run on the standard Microsoft vga driver everything is fine. I've updated and reinstalled the graphics driver and reformatted the computer, and still can't locate the issue.

I'm beginning to think that the on board graphics card is fried.

Anyone have any thoughts on what could be the culprit?

Thanks in advance,

That certainly looks like a failing GPU to me. One thing to try would be checking the memory and/or swapping it out for some different RAM. It's a long shot, but worth a go.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I've unfortunately tried both to no avail, I'm thinking the integrated Intel HD Graphics is faulty.
