If Best Buy bankrupt what becomes of Geek Squad?

GeekSquad will keep going, someone else will pick them up and keep the ball rolling. I just passed another little Geek Squad Beetle on the highway the other day. Laughed my arse off at the geek inside that thing...wanted to run over that little car with my new RAM truck.

I drive a Jaguar & I've pulled up beside the beetles before at an office complex where they must have a client somewhere as well. Never got to see the tech but I always wanted to tell them "See what you get to drive when you become good at what you do?"

This happened at Circuit City. I worked as a Firedog Technician for three years until they closed all remaining stores in March, 2009. Our store had a great management team that let the technicians fix computers the correct and ethical way, not like some of the horror stories online.

The Firedog name was purchased at auction and is still in business today although I don't see malware removal listed on their services page.
