Doing an update on a windows 7 64bit pro install I found that I cannot upgrade IE 8 to 11. I am experiencing problems with a update that will not install This update says "Not for your system". So, I ran the Windows Update readyness tool and this is the log errors that I have:
This system is already in clients office and they do their quickbooks on it along with some other software. I have tried installing the KB2952664 update and it balks and says its not for your system. When I do a update to install IE 11 I get the error code 9c57.
The only options I can think of are a repair reinstall or a roll back. This will involve alot more work Iam afraid in reinstalling a bunch of software all over again.
Any suggestions to resolve this issue? Has anyone ran into this before? I need to get this upgraded to IE 11 as soon as possible as quickbooks complains to client about outdated IE 8.
