Reminds me of something I saw on TV years ago when I was a kid in Brazil, 1969. One of those things one can remember. We'd only been back there a year so I didn't fully appreciate how uneducated so many were outside of major cities. Like everywhere else in the world they were replaying the first few hours of the moon landing.
One interview was at some small town or city in the interior with country bumpkin. Back then TV's were not cheap and many times the only places that had them were local stores, etc. so that was where people gathered to get news and entertainment.
He said it had to be fake, waiving to the sun lit sky, since the video showed a black sky. One of many lessons learned about knowledge and education while I was there.

It's easy to forget that a lot of the cars we know and hate, here in the UK and in Europe, don't make it to the US. Or, if they do, they do so under a different name.
For example, something I recently learned while watching an old episode of Wheeler Dealers ... The popular VW Golf; been around for decades, in one shape or another, but everyone knows it's called a Golf, right!? Noooooope. Apparently in the US it's called a Rabbit!?
That's gotta cause confusion when those Golf-owning American ladies talk about their pride and joy.

Only until 1984. After that they were all Golfs. In fact, I owned a Rabbit pickup truck for 15 years. Something you never really saw in Europe. (The Rabbit is coming back this year in the States as a special edition I guess.)

What is the stripe for? I never used cardstock, but I am guessing if they got out of order that line would be a dead give away?

That's to help put them back in order when things go wrong. Back in the day I saw a graduate student drop his thesis project. It was two rows of cards that took up an entire shallow cardboard box that came from a case of Coke cans. Must have been 2,000-3,000 cards. Yes - I saw a grown man cry - literally!
