I don't necessarily care for political posts from either side, but attacking someone for it seems like a little much. If you have a problem with it maybe talk to one of the mods. At this point you are just making the situation worse.

I agree here. political views are one of the many "pants" views.

Pants views/opinions.
are opinions by ones self of which should be kept to ones self unless willing to allow the recipient of ones opinions into ones pants.

Essentially if you wouldn't *insert adult word here* (with consent), then you shouldn't give your pants opinion to them.

@Slaters Kustum Machines It's a simple request to stick to the thread topic, a request that's been made several times. I've politely ignored all the lame sexist posts but the other off-topic garbage on top of it really gets tiresome. I don't think asking that we stick to the HUMOR for the HUMOR THREAD "makes things worse" and I'd welcome any mods to weigh in. It's pretty simple: humor adds to comraderie, political posts do the exact opposite. If you want to see what happens with political stuff then go look at the old posts around here about guns and climate change, and I think it should be really obvious why it's nice to have a little space that's not like that and where we don't have to look at pointless venom.
