He looks like the kind of guy who falls for Nigerian Prince scams, not masterminds them. But then again, in my experience native Louisianians speak just as badly broken English as the scammers, so I guess its plausible.

Reminds me of the "short between the keyboard and the seat / chair" error code. I used to work with another fellow who service printers - all types, mostly dot-matrix & laser (business level) and he would sometimes write that up as the error code on his service ticket(s).

This is how almost every. single. one. of my remote sessions go with residential clients. It used to drive me crazy, but now I guess I've accepted defeat and just wade through it every time. For a while, I would way "Only if you want my help" instead of "yes", eventually I just gave in.

This is what kills me. They get in trouble because they are so click happy and click next, yes, and allow everything as fast as possible when dealing with unknown stuff. Get them on the phone for remote support and then suddenly they are paranoid and afraid to click anything without you having to beg them to do it.
