Thanks to yahoo's technical expertise, Monday we will see an increase of blind people ;)

"The 12 million people who live there can view the eclipse at its fullest merely by walking outside and looking up,"

https://ca.news.yahoo.com/millions-americans-gaze-upon-mondays-once-lifetime-eclipse-102856225.html
Not only YAHOO, but most any place online who offers suggestions for viewing the eclipse.

Me, I'm either going to watch it via a shoebox viewer (or some sort of cardboard box) or just wait until the news carries it. I'm in the 90% area unless I take a drive down to where Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois & Indiana come together where it is supposed to be a 100% eclipse.

ROAD TRIP~!

My dog does that - without the eclipse - and stares at the ceiling too. Scares the cr@p out of my wife, she thinks it's ghosts! :D
There is a condition where dogs (cats too) will press their head against a wall. It can actually be a serious neurological or other issue. Don't know if this is similar, but you may want to mention it to your vet.
