Sure glad to see you back. Many of us have been missing you. Yah need to pop in once and awhile to keep us all up on yourself.I've been a pity poorly recently (all say "aahhh",.No?)
Sod ya then [emoji16][emoji4]
Bad cold, but runny nose. Bunged up.
Anyway,. I was halfway through 2 tins of Monster, and for some reason, thinking one of them was empty, I decided to use that tin as a spittoon.
Now, I couldn't remember which one.
Tried peering through the top, looking for froth,... At which point I had a brainwave.
Holding both tins up,... "ingrid, does one of these taste funny to you“?

No, my failure, I think. You know, 'post in haste, regret at leisure'. I was away all day after posting and by the time I came back here it was too late to delete without explanation. So, mea culpa.I was trying to be funny, not derogatory -- but failed.
ya know, I got a pack of floppy disks, still factory sealed, I believe 10 pack. with a "life time warranty" (which should still be valid since the shrink wrap is still in tact) in my display cases for sale, brings up a lot of conversation starters!Top shelf technology. LOL!!! Saw this today at a site, was a shock seeing it NIB. I can clearly remember customer's at CompUSA asking about when it would come out. And when it did they flew out the door at $200 a pop. Over 20 years ago.

I am fairly certain they were made before me too!!!
I helped do a POS refresh at a giant retail chain two years ago and the servers were being updated via floppy. Blew my mind. I don't know what those servers were being used for since I wasn't working on that part of the project, but it couldn't have been the POS terminals/scanners.LOL!!! Been several years but the last time I had to use a 3.5 floppy I ran through 4-5 before I had one that would format and load the software. But I still have more as well as drives!
