Charge double. Or better yet, give them free service and sell them your old stock for full price.
But seriously, your main goal right now should be experience. Finding this forum is definately a good start, my fellow techs where I work don't know half of the tools and skills talked about here. For friends and family, for now do it free, to get experience, but accept tips. Invest any money you do make into getting the proper tools and equipment.
Job/Intership would be a great way to get experience, even if only in sales. You will need to see the business side of things, as well as get used to the way customers act about their computer issues and how to deal with that. And being prepared to deal with the common issues that come in and questions that people ask is good too.
Study for A+ and get certified.
Read these forums everyday and do searches to find information on things you are not sure about or are curious about.
