I've been providing a few local laptop repair companies with leads.

Anyway I've just given a guy in Liverpool a total of 44 phone calls over the past month plus around 8 emails. Of those phone calls more 22 of them were over a minute in length.

He's telling me that my service is not worth the money I'm charging (£129/month) for the volume of calls I'm providing.

I used to repair laptops for living and worked the average laptop repair at around £40. Sometimes you'd get easy repairs like keyboards and only charge £20 then there are the nuke & paves/OS/reinstalls coming in at £60ish.

I've got a few other local companies in the UK signed up and they are more than happy but just wondering if my price is out of whack? The way I look at it I've probably given him around 15 actual customers out of that 44 calls....even if it were 10 that's still around £400....

thoughts?

Doing the maths it sounds like good business. Don't forget each one of those customers can lead to referals and repeat business. Only he knows the business he has got from them so maybe your assumptions are wrong.

Yeah I think I will ask! As mentioned I've got others signed up and they've been with me for more than a year now.

Even if he broke even it's still worth it in my eyes as it will lead to repeat/word of mouth business.

I'm not going to dwell on it too long as I'm just moving on to one of his local competitors....
