How many miles do you put on your vehicle a year?

I service 2 counties in my state and frequently travel 40mins each way to visit customers. I just purchased a Subaru Forester back in April brand new with 29 miles on the odometer...I just hit 11,000 miles today.

I'm at 301,659 and my truck is not quite 10 years old. That's about 30,000 miles a year.

Those Toyotas hang in there as long as the oil is changed on schedule!

I have a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer and I got it with 39,000 miles in 2007 (Aug) and just hit 70,000 last month. I drive all the time, between 2 large cities (70 mile distance) and I can't believe I am still that low.

3 years and 31,000 miles, so approx 11,000 a year.

Those Toy's will last no mater what you do.

I had a 79 Celica with a 22R that had well over 300,000 with no maintenance at all. It still ran great. The body's will fall off those cars before they die.

I used to drive everywhere but now I get all my customers to come to me. I've lost business because of this but my life is now far less stressful as I can walk to work and hardly have to drive at all.

If I do get a job where I'm required onsite there's a big call out fee :)

I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 with 225k on it! I average about 20k a year. Haven't had any major issues with it yet!

I had a Datsun pickup when I was a teenager. Had 250k when I bought it and I put 200k or so on it! Best lil truck ever! :)

Well I am a new starter so not doing many miles. Previous to that I drove 30000 - 40000 miles a year. I drive a VW Golf GT TDI in the main but when the weather gets bad(snow) I drive a Land Rover Defender 90 which goes anywhere but at no great speed. Great last winter around the villages :)

Most of my work is workshop related. But I do do call outs, aawr. Last year my mileage log showed around 1850 miles. The wife uses the car far more than me, its a 2004 Peugeot 307 HDI, and in total, its around 15-18000 miles a year. She drives approx 50 miles a day back n forth to work.

As a side note, in the US, do you have to have business cover for your car insurance?, we do in the UK.

I have been driving 500 miles a week for the last 2 years in order to attend "Computer Repair School" 2 days a week. 2000 miles a month just 4 school.
This is on a 2000 Dodge Ram w/5.9 litre V8 and under 160k total 4 the truck...
Most customers are local and less than 10 minutes from where I am.
Cheers

Used to put about 40,000 to 60,000 on every year on a little S10 or Ford Ranger. Would go through a truck about every 4 years. Servicing customers in rural areas it doesn't take long to wear out a vehicle.

My car costs me a fortune. Most my jobs are in walking distance but I do often have to use the car to pick things up etc.

I bought my 1.1 Fiat Panda brand new in April and cost £86 a month for the insurance (full comp, business use).

I do around 3500-4500 miles a year and most of that is business use. I live in a very small country (Greater Manchester) and has a population of 2.6 million. That is nearly the population of the entire area of Ireland.

I intend to keep my Panda until it dies, it is a long term investment.

I bought my car in January of this year with 113k on it and it's now 10 months later and it has 138k on it.

It's a 2001 Mazda Protege that gets pretty decent gas mileage, but in central Pennsylvania, I make quite a few trips to nearby cities like Altoona and State College and that's 45 miles in either direction. 75% of my mileage is business related. The rest is just typical teenager use.
