Holy F--- I'm old. Windows 95 is 20 years old today.

Haha, I still remember those times where I would insert floppy disk several times just to install windows on my computer.. :)

Most systems seemed to have a 'Turbo' button back then .... remember those?

Probably the most pointless button ever. I mean, did anybody ever think "this thing is running too fast ... better turn turbo off"?

I had to turn off the Turbo for a lot of my DOS games... Jazz Jackrabbit going a ga'zillion miles per hour was unplayable.

I don't recall the details but the company I started out with had a chain of dry cleaners and the software they used didn't like turbo. Didn't like Pentium chips either.

My first real usages with a computer were on Win 95.
It wasn't until years later, some time around 1999 or 2000 that I got to use windows
3.1 for the first time. It was on my dad's work machine..... windows 3.1 wow what
a treat. Many kids my age don't even know what windows 3.1 was.
How about Windows 3.0? That's where I got my first start with Windows. Had already started with CP/M and very early DOS.

How about this i use to use these to program computers:

I remember several OEM's, etc trying to come up with their own "desktop"'s that were imaged as desktops, offices, library, etc. Like Compaq, Packard Bell, Microsoft, etc.

Here's Bob!!!!
