When you deal with a lot of computers at the same time with the same or similar services, it becomes harder to keep track of what has been done on what computer. The problem becomes increasingly worse when you are dealing with more than one technician working on the same set of computers. While you can input everything into a ticket system and refer back to it or double check your work, this can take a significant amount of time, especially when dealing with multiple computers.
This is our solution.
What we have basically done is create a template, upload it to Vistaprint and have them print us several hundred of each set of sticky notes. Each one is clearly labeled on the bottom, the first one in the pictures that is not labeled is for the diagnostic results.
This has greatly helped us to streamline the process and has helped us to save a lot of time. It makes it very easy for any technician to see what has been done and what has not been done.
