Hi guys,

As some of you know, I've just rebuilt my gaming/HTPC.
I was getting a Radeon HD4XXX (can't remember exact model number)
Think I'm goin' to cancel that one and order something else; something bigger and better :)

Anyways .. heres my problem

Before that I had a Nvidia card connected to TV via S-Video-to-Composite.
Now my PC is about 6-8 metres away from the TV. (My lounge is a weird shape and its the closest I can get it to the TV :) )
Now, the most HDMI cables that I have seen are 1.8 m. I haven't yet seen one bigger. Are there ones bigger than that ? Can I joined a few together with special adapters ? Would the video/audio quality degrade at all ?

Cheers guys;

Tim

My projection TV is 16 feet away from the screen but the HDMI cable is about 30 feet in length and its perfect.

I am using a 50 ft hdmi (15 meters) cable from monoprice with no problems at all.
