One installation the client calls periodically claiming the scanner doesn't work. I reinstalled the client Ap, hp deskjet 8600 and showed them how to scan from their desktop (which always works, but apparently that isn't good enough). So I find myself going onsite tomorrow to reboot the printer, and workstations (2) until it starts working.. Yes I never really make any real changes each time but sooner or later it works.
