Great resource for restore disks possibly free?

Anyone have a great download resource for restore cd's? One that is preferably free?

I have an emachines piece of junk here that needs the OS reinstalled from like 100+ different viruses. I'll either have to find the .wim file in the restore partition assuming the .wim isn't infected and go that route, or find a restore cd from some place you guys recommend.

Thanks.

Sadly their is no great source of restore discs, their are illegal means of getting them something that you open a magnet link with

Otherwise the manufacturer, some vendors sell the discs, ebay or amazon. For win 7 you can go to digital river and download isos for vista same thing but download wims

Kinda ****** they don't allow you to get something for free you've already bought (but were too stupid to make when it prompted you to). :(

I think the real problem lays in the fact that the "Recovery Media" is a partition on the hard drive and not a CD. That, kind sir, is where the stupidity is.

For those interested I took this route: http://en.community.dell.com/suppor...fficial-iso-download-links-digital-river.aspx

It works just fine for emachines, but your missing all the bloat.

Wow! I've been looking for this for such a long time. I already had a 32-bit installer, but have needed a 64-bit installer forever. And because I just couldn't figure out what to search for (proper phrase).....well I'm glad this topic came up. Just another excellent reason to be part of this community.
