Gmail SMTP settings on an ATT iPhone

She has been unable to send when she is on the cell network. Works fine on wifi.

Tried deleting and re-adding a GMAIL account with same results.

Tried adding OTHER account and manually setting the smtp and it still does not work.

She said it just randomly stopped sending about 3 weeks ago.

Any ideas?
 
If it only doesn't work on the cell network, that would lead me to believe it's an issue with her cell data provider. Perhaps her email was blacklisted on her cell network?
 
usually, Gmail always works as its so mainstream
I would try another email app on phone, also try a new password.
you could try a different Gmail account see if it works
 
I would give the network a call, as I know working ISP support it was common to get blocked by the system or network. No one has to do it, could just been an algorithm that ended up flagging it falsely, but they can turn it back on.

Maybe try a different network too, if you have Verizon, try on your phone.
