In case you have any clients still using the G Suite free version that was offered before 2012. Google is finally killing it off.

If you have the G Suite legacy free edition, you need to upgrade to a paid Google Workspace subscription to keep your services. The G Suite legacy free edition will no longer be available starting May 1, 2022. Starting May 1, Google will seamlessly transition you to Workspace, which you can use at no cost until July 1, 2022.

Already migrated. What sucks is they want you to pay for management tools now. Before, I had to approve new devices, now it just open the door if they have the password. I may upgrade to get that back. I just use it as my personal email service, so I don't run into many issues. I don't even use the storage or other features.

Hi there, yes we have a FQDN fully qualified domain name with it. So far the transition has been ok. Yes, I do agree with you that Google may charge me for it in the future so have a backup plan in place. Just using it mainly for family photo sharing. We use to use it for email but everyone in the family opted to use their personal email instead.

In that case you may never show up on their radar. A huge expense for those types of companies is transmission, the size of the pipe. I'm sure it's relatively low volume.
