The other day, I was hanging around an infected URL for Trojans etc to add to my Malware collection, and picked up a lovely piece of Rougeware with the alias of 'Internet Security 2011'
Upon letting it install, up comes the usual 'OMGZZ YOU IZ INFEKTED, click here to remove threats' and the scan screen with the fake threats appeared.
Upon a simple rename trick, it seemed to of disappeared, MBAM was clean, MSE was clean. So I though nothing more of it.
Here is the funny part. An hour later up pops a massive screen hailing the loudest pig squeal ever causing me to nearly 'drop one' and throw a huge bag of peanuts averywhere.
Yeah, next time it may need to warn me my speakers have swine flu.
