We have been using phpcoin for 5 years. It's free, web based so it can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, works on all O.S.'s cause it's web based...and the main reason we use it is because of recurring invoices. If we have a client that has a maintenenace contract that is billed monthly (as we prefer) it generates the invoice automatically and emails it out. We also do web hosting for clients so the recurring invoices are perfect whether it's weekly or yearly. Once we enter it in it's on autopilot and I never have to worry about if someone got billed. Once a client receives an invoice they can also log into it and pay with a credit card or PayPal. It has many other features also such as FAQ, and support tickets.
