First Hard Disk Harddrive

I was reading a few things online and I came across this bit of information and I found it pretty intresting.
The first hard disk drive ever was introduced by IBM in 1956 and it was only 5MB, but it was the size of two large refrigerators.
It is strange to see in just 50 years how far things have come with technology it makes me thing what are things going to be like in another 50 years.
 
My father paid $1000 for a 400mb slimline removable harddrive back in the 486 days. Now days you cant do anything with 400mb... except maybe putting a small linux build on it.
