FireFox Booster for Ver 4-14..xx (15 Feb 2012)
This is a small utility to set your FF settings to "max" speed and connections. Although you can do it via the about:config-way, this is way faster and safes you time...I will add a feature where you can enter your OWN settings in the future...
To be used with FireFox ver 4,5,6,7,8,9,10.xx ( Updated 15 Feb 2012 )
...enjoy
PS: Do a speed/connection-test here ---> http://spasche.net/files/parallel_connections/ BEFORE adding the settings, and one AFTER applying the settings and notice the diff...
The following "tweaks" has been applied --->
MADE FOR FAST COMPUTERS!
1) network.http.keep-alive.timeout", 600
2) nglayout.initialpaint.delay", 0
3) network.prefetch-next", false
4) network.http.max-connections-per-server", 16
5) ui.submenuDelay", 0
6) browser.cache.memory.enable", true
7) network.dnsCacheEntries", 512
8) network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server", 16
9) network.dnsCacheExpiration", 3600
10) network.http.request.max-start-delay", 0
11) network.http.pipelining.ssl", true
12) network.prefetch-next", false
13) network.http.pipelining", true
14) browser.cache.disk.smart_size_cached_value", 1048576
15) network.http.pipelining.maxrequests", 10
16) network.http.proxy.pipelining", true
17) network.dns.disableIPv6", true
PS: THERE IS NO WAY THAT YOU CAN OVERWRITE YOUR FIRST BACKUP...MEANING YOU CAN ALWAYS "REVERT" BACK!!!
Download Here ---> http://www.mediafire.com/?vmgh26bhdu3hz7b (latest 22 Dec 2011 - now with better security)
TIP: If you do an "Upgrade" AFTER applying the Booster, do the following --->
1) RESTORE your old settings with this utility
2) RESTART your latest FF ( it might ask to check for compatibility programs...not to worry, this is normal )
3) Last but not least, do a "BOOST FIREFOX" again...
Done...
