Expired HP Ink Message

Ever hear of HP ink messages? Did you know that they effectively send a kill switch to the device, disabling printing if your ink is beyond a certain date? WOW... No more HP printers for me, and no more recommended to clients!

Never heard of that, but I did have a printer that decided one day that it was no longer going to print (Epson is crap). So, took it outside on my driveway, smashed it to smitherines I had so much fun. That was back when I was 12 or 13 years old (7 or 8 years ago) I probably should have kept the the motors.

hey man call the HP service person to service your printer and see what the solutions that guy will suggest you!

and post the suggestions on this forum too, it will be appreciated!

Try using a more professional or higher-end biz range printer from HP,
and then get refillable cartridges or toner refill kits from eBAY. Very cost effective
and no expiration ever.

Yeah, I know about that stuff. This was just our consumer level photo printer. I believe I have a work-around, posted on my repair blog.
