So after Messing with it some more, I found out what the issue is. Thanks everyone for you input, it really helps me out a lot. Hch was correct. After realizing that nothing I did was gonna solve the issue, I contacted the customer and started asking questions. It turns out, the customer recently bought a new Netgear router at home. She failed to mention this to me before. so I asked her to bring it in to see if we could get it to work, but sure enough the thing would connect, but not load the router config page no matter what. Connected a Netgear usb adapter to the computer and was able to connect and go to the router config page. Its funny to me how Wifi cards do that sometimes as I have had an Ipad and a Belkin router not play nice with each other before. Anyways shes happy and on her way out the door.
Still could not figure out the issue with the Ethernet adapter though. I told the customer about it and she said that it had never worked for them for as long as they had the computer. Oh well I'm just happy its fixed. Thanks again guys.
