This isn't a business question, more of a personal one. My wife was refilling the ink in her Epson ET-2400 ecotank printer. When she was done you are supposed to hold the stop button down for 5 seconds to start the charging process. Well the orange light never comes on for the ink level indicator and the charging doesn't start. Does anyone know how to force it to start?

The charging process is a one-time event, to circulate ink in a new, clean, dry printer. Refilling doesn't require charging – just fill the tank and carry on printing.

Interesting, in that it does on my Canon printer. But, even that's still consistent with what you've said, in that the printer does it by itself with no human intervention after ink tanks are refilled/replaced. You just send the next print job and if you've changed out ink tanks it will do any priming/charging it thinks it needs prior to that first printing occurring.
