I have an nvidia quadro FX 560 card with 2 DVI outputs to setup 2 monotors.
I got the latest driver but it only shows one output in device manager
and display settings. Usually when I have done this before it shows 2 so I can extend.

I'm pretty sure nVidia cards will only show one device in Device Manager for all displays, whereas ATI and Intel will show a separate device for each display.

...but your option to enable dual display should be in nVidia's display software somewhere.

If you've installed the NVidia Control Panel, go to "select a task..." and under "Display" you should see "set up multiple displays". Make sure you have connected the second display and it should show up on your list with a check mark next to it.

Hope this helps. :D
