Drop Box.

I am looking at using drop box as a source for one of my clients as a off site backup, what do u think

It should perform pretty well as an online backup service, however I don't think the last time I checked that their prices are very cheap

DropBox is for syncing files and folders across multiple computers and accessing them in a pinch online. But their prices aren't conducive to online backup. I pay 10 a month for a pro subscription and I get 50gb. There are much cheaper solutions out there.

I personally wouldnt use it due to authentication issues it has, not very secure IMHO.

DropBox is a good remote backup solution.

Personally I would look into a more dedicated online backup source. There are plenty to choose from, nine, carbonite, mozy etc.

You have to differintiate beween backup and sync.
Or maybe you mean sync the backup to dropbox.
