Downgrading 7 to vista

The end result to all this is that I purchased a valid oem of vista business from a reputable supplier that I found through these forums and used that to perform the downgrade, using his existing windows 7 license as per downgrade rights policies from ms. The process did not require a call to activate (this time). I explained to my customer that I will be able to perform this for windows 7 professional machines he ends up with for the foreseeable future. I paid for the disk out of pocket and am keeping it (as per ms policies) and now have a vista business disk I did not have before.

This was a pretty unique scenario for me, seeing as, like another post mentioned, my first reaction was to use win 7 policies and perhaps 3rd party software to accommodate his needs. In the end, though that was not a good solution for my customer. Now I have a happy customer, most likely future business, and have added needed software to my woefully inadequate library.

All in all, I call this one a success.
