Do any of you guys use windows server backup?

Another long time Backup Assist proponent here. Simple and to the point. Works extremely well and far less expensive than than fuckup exec (lol)

START BACKUP -backupTarget:M: -include:C: -allCritical -systemState -vssFull

Sorry if I missed it, but haven't seen anyone tackle the command yet.

Are you including wbadmin at the beginning? ie:

wbadmin start backup -backuptarget:m: -allcritical -vssfull​

Notes:

• You shouldn't need -systemstate because it's included in -allcritical
• You *probably* don't need the -include:c: because it's likely included in -allcritical (try backing up, then mounting the backup to check what's included).

I would always use Windows Server Backup.
