Disassembling laptops with multiple screw sizes

Went to hobby lobby with my wife and found some pretty big magnetic sheets that are sticky on one side for $3. Stuck a few of them on the bench so they don't move and the screws stay in place from the magnet. Works great!

I never used anything for that.
I just put screws on the parts they screw...

Or on my left bottom case, up ; screen etc...

I always reassemble anything I dissasemble !

If I'm too drunk I just put them screws in a pill bottle. (empty)

And I have only perforated only 2 top cover with that technique !
(early days)

some laptops are so intricate though its hard even with drawing the bottom, cause when you get inside they are complicated

regarding the ifixit mats they arent very strong so i simply bought some flat magnets and put them all over the bottom to increase the strength

That is why I like using the double sided carpet tape. It is sticky! I could probably throw the cases with screws on them at the wall and I bet none would fall off. I have to hold the cd case down with one hand while I peel the screws off the tape with the other.
