Anyone getting a lot of Dell computers that stopped booting? Just seems like to much of a coincidence they are all breaking at once
We haven't seen this. We only sell Dell computers. What do you mean by stopped booting? Does the computer not power up or get's stuck on the the Dell splash screen or Windows gets stuck during boot? Are these business or consumer computers? What OS?Anyone getting a lot of Dell computers that stopped booting? Just seems like to much of a coincidence they are all breaking at once
...dell support says its a bad hard drive, but its not.
I just yanked the drive and put it in the docking station and my other computer picked it up instantly. Got their data off the drive, SMART check said its passing. Seagate hard disk check passed.Dell support will walk you through their built-in diagnostic. They concluded the drives are bad, but you say their fine. How did each of you arrive at your conclusions?
Also be helpful to know what OS they are running 7/8/10?

Sounds like I did answer your question with the last one too. I guess I didn't think I needed much detail because I thought everyone might have seen it.,What is giving the error it can't see the drive the bios or Windows?
What happens if you drop the drive into a caddy and access it from another computer can you see it?
Sounds like a misconfigured setting or bad windows updates

He is seeing problems with a BRAND, not a model of computers and the most popular brand at that. Me thinks the OP has jumped to a conclusion based on mere on coincidence.
