Before 1809 was rolled out customer had no problems was running fine now every once in a while it would crash playing graphic intensive games the machine is only 3 months old checked drivers, temps, sfc made sure the fans are clean.
I then did a fresh reload of 1809 same issues, then i did a fresh install of 1803 no issues whatsoever also seems to run faster?.
Has an SSD as main drive good thing customer only plays 2 games something is up with 1809 after a few updates it runs slow.

Maybe this? https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ne...-after-april-2019-updates-according-to-users/

1809 is the Oct 2018 release, April 2019s updates are available for 1803, 1809, and 1903. Only 1903 hasn't released yet.

So no, April's updates have nothing to do with anything. You report an 1803 fresh install that what upgraded again? What release and patch level is that machine at?

The linked article is TLDR, don't use 3rd party AV on Windows 10. I learned that lesson years ago.

What happens if you do a fresh install without the games? Perhaps one of them has a problem with 1809?

It's a driver not a game that is having a problem. First find out if anything is sucking up the CPU. If yes, fix that.

Next, find ALL drivers that are not WHQL certified or are not provided by Microsoft and uninstall them from the uninstall a program and/or the device manager.

Run Windows Update and update the drivers.

You should be able to get it.
