I just discovered something. Craigslist has a feature that when your post gets so far down the list there is an option next to the edit & delete options. Renew. It puts your post back at the top as if you had just posted it. Just tried it and it worked. Try it and see.
Actually it is based on a timer. I believe its exactly 48 hours
Good to see a local competitor is a reader of TN.

I've been using CL a bit more due to this thread and the tips to keep it simple really are the key. Thanks for the good advice.
haha - Im in Arizona - I have 2 other people doing the same thing. Its okay. Competition is healthy![]()
That's the downside of Craigslist: a majority of the people that are one there are looking for the cheapest deal. I wouldn't let that discourage you; I've gotten some of my best clients from Craigslist.I tried posting on craigslist a week ago, first call was from a small business but they didn't want to pay 75$ an hour to fix their custom access program that was coded by a guy 12 years ago that they lost in touch with. We are located in NY so that rate is definitely a good value. It was somewhat of a shock since they stated all the features the program would automate for them but they resorted to paper and penciling everything.
