Had a report of scammers calling a house, then marketing to come to said house to fix PC isue for $25.00. Scammer comes to house and get's user's bank details and drains account.

BTW, what is the software to block the youtube ads? I've not found any that actually work.
 
There isn't any.

What you need is this inexpensive piece of hot-swappable hardware.

Simply remove the hardware when the ad finishes playing.

I just run AdblockPlus -- I haven't seen a YT ad in ages. It's not til the rare time I go to play a video on my phone that I'm reminded that YT even has ads.

I thought I had that installed...but for some reason I didn't must have forgot after a reformat at some point. Anyway, it is installed now - I sure hope it cuts those minute long ads out of YT.
