I have a friend that also does PC repair. He charges $50 flat rate. I charge $125, and deal almost stricktly with businesses. I was totally overbooked one weekend with more repairs than I was going to be able to do, so I "Outsorced" the repair to him. (Simple virus cleanup). He does good work, so I wasn't concerned.
End result, I made $75 on a repair that I simply transported...
Perhaps you could take advantage of the $30 guy?
Just kidding of course...But, you might check him out. You never know when you could use some help. I, obviously, wouldn't just sub it out to anyone...You'd have to feel comfortable with thier skills, but don't write him off simply because he charges less than you.
Some peopel prefer to work harder rather than smarter.
