Air cooled, stock heat sink and fan, at idle, 50-60C below 90F (32C) ambient is acceptable to me. If your ambient is higher than that, you should be turning the AC on or something. 60-70C @ Idle below 32C Ambient is iffy to me. Above 70C @ idle, below 32C ambient, your not dissipating correctly, your thermometer is defective in the CPU area, your voltage is too high (seen it), or your stock cooler isn't strong enough.
Ambient means a lot to me, not just cause I'm in Arizona where everyone leaves all the doors and windows open, AC turned off, and it's 100+ outside.
Also, make sure the case is adequately bringing air in, and taking air out. Alot of these MiniATX cases have a fan, and that's the CPU fan. It pisses me off cause I'll have 80C @ idle and it's 60F ambient.
