Hi Guys,

I am looking for a bit of help and advice on my webpage. I have only set it up recently and it's still a bit messy. For example there is an empty box on the bottom left of the homepage where I intend to put a remote assistance link. But let me know what you think. The website is located at http://www.techsmart.ie/.

Cheers,
Cathal

First impression was "It's a car dealership" because the car pic was so huge. While on-site emphasis is great, you don't want to overdo it.

"Click here to see if we operator in you area"

Your facebook link takes people away from your site. You might not want that. Have links like that open in new tabs.

I agree, it looks like a car advert. You may also want to consider changing the menu options. The services link only shows 2 services and the computers link shows 2 others I'd put them together on one page or have seperate pages for each as "child"pages of the services page

I'd suggest photoshopping a sign onto that car, either your logo or just a text "On site Computer service" or something, since it's the mani focus of the frontpage.

The facebook link should open a new tab/window, and look over the link itself, it doesn't work right.

Add a picture to the trio-frame at the bottom, even if it's not clickable.

I think that's what I'd suggest to start.

Cheers guys,

I thought that about the car but didn't want to say lest I put words in you mouth. I think I will go the photoshop route as I think the proportion is is reasonably good for the front page.
